Home visits
We understand that some patients are unable to come into the surgery. If you are housebound we can arrange a home visit to make sure you get the care you need.
- Telephone triage – A clinician will usually call you first to talk through your symptoms. This helps us understand your needs and ensures the most suitable clinician comes to see you.
- Requesting a visit – If possible, please contact the surgery before 10:30am if you feel you need a home visit that day.
- Who it’s for – Home visits are designed for patients who are truly housebound or unable to attend the surgery. This means patients who are unable to get out of the house for ANY reason.
Our team will always do their best to support you. Please remember that seeing patients at the surgery allows us to help more people in the same amount of time, so we encourage attending the practice whenever it’s possible and safe to do so.
My Planned Care
