Getting your test results
Reception are able to tell you if your results have been returned to the surgery, but they are unable to give out any results over the phone.
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment or if a clinician wishes to discuss the results with you, we will contact you via telephone, text message or letter.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your EMIS Patient Access account
To help reduce our carbon footprint, we will no longer be printing out results/documents for collection – these can all be accessed via online services or sent directly to you via secure text or email. If you do not have a smartphone, please speak to Reception.
